An individualized treatment plan will be developed for each resident and generally will include
the following services:
A. Independent living skills training and/or structured opportunities in the following areas:
1. Self medication procedures.
2. Activities of daily living/self-care.
3. Home maintenance and homemaking chores.
4. Social skills acquisition training.
5. Behavior management.
6. Self government.
7. Social/recreational activities.
8. Money management.
9. Avocational and vocational opportunities/volunteer experiences.
10. Transportation (Program Related)
B. Provide assistance utilizing independent living practices and procedures which result in the resident having more control over his or her life and increased productivity in society.
C. Assistance in the enhancement and development of social support networks.
D. Involvement in self government process designed to improve responsibility to others as well as to self.
E. Assistance with compensatory strategies for use in living, volunteer opportunities, employment and recreational/leisure settings.
F. Use of natural consequences and the opportunity for choice of acceptable options to minimize reliance on others and to maximize independence.
G. Training and assistance to maximize problem solving, self-control, and self- management.
H. Transportation is provided to and from vocational, educational, recreational, medical and daily living sites throughout the community. Where appropriate, training is provided to access and utilize public transportation
